2021 Pool Season 2021 Updates

Construction Update

Please refer to the Spring 2021 Newsletter for background on the pool construction delays. 

We received the long-awaited county permits at the beginning of June and work resumed immediately on the pool deck replacement project. We estimate the project will continue through the month of June. We are keeping in daily contact with our contractors and will provide a tentative opening date once we pass through some more critical milestones. 

Temporary Access to Local Pools 

While we finish construction on our own community pool, Morris Farm residents with accounts in good standing may temporarily access the Glenkirk Estates Community Pool or the Larry Weeks Community Pool (Vint Hill). Instructions for accessing each pool are below. 

Access to both pools is for residents only – no guests from outside our community – and residents must adhere to the rules for each respective pool while at their facility. 

This access is temporary and will discontinue by the time we open our community pool. 

Temporary Access to Glenkirk Estates Community Pool 

For the Glenkirk Estates Community Pool, you must reserve a time slot. Reservations each day will be available until we have met the capacity quota Glenkirk Estates has set for Morris Farm residents. 

Additionally, we plan to extend our community’s season into mid-September (weekdays and weekends) to make up for some of the lost time at the beginning of the season. 

• If you reserve space and will not end up using it, please cancel it so others may reserve that space! 
• When you create an account, the system will send you an email at your preferred email; please check your spam folder if you do not receive it soon after registering. 

GLENKIRK ESTATES POOL 

FunFangle Pool Reservations System 

1. Create an account at https://glenkirk.funfangle.club/ 
2. Add additional family members by using the “add” button (top right) 
3. From left-hand menu, select “Make a Reservation” 
4. Select “community pool” and time slot(s) for up to six (6) hours in a 7 day period

For the Larry Weeks Community Pool, you may simply show your Morris Farm Pool Pass for entry. Please remember this is for Morris Farm residents only (no guests from outside of our community)!

COMMUNITY POOL RULES 

2021 Pool Registration Information 

Returning residents may visit WWW.POOLREGISTRATION.COM to access their pool passes at any time to update their account, including editing members of household. 

Returning residents may use the same pool passes as last year. Log in to your account using your existing email address and password to access/print your passes (if you forgot your password, you may click on the “forgot password” button. If you forgot the email address you used to register last year, contact our SFMC Community Manager.) You may also add or delete family members and/or tenants from your account. 

IF YOU ARE A NEW RESIDENT: 

• Visit www.poolregistration.com and click on “Create account.” You will be taken to the registration page. One resident will register as the owner (if you have tenants) or head of household, so that there is a primary point of contact on file for all registrants. 
• Add the information for each resident requiring a pass. If you are a head of household, you will provide information for yourself in the owner section in addition to the resident section. Then you will add each resident in your home requiring a pass. If you are an owner providing passes for tenants, you will provide the name of each tenant. 
• If the resident has his or her own email address, please include it if you would like the pool pass to be emailed directly to that person. If the resident is a child, simply provide the head of household’s email address. The child’s pool pass will be emailed to the head of household. 
• All residents age 12 and older must upload a photo for inclusion on the pool pass. 
• If you are a member in good standing, you will receive your pool passes within 48 hours of registration. Please allow an extra 24-48 hours if you register between 5 pm on Friday and 9 am on Monday. 

What if I am a tenant or have tenants? 

The owner must register on www.poolregistration.com and provide the names and information for his tenants. The owner must certify through the website that he is relinquishing his/her passes to the tenants for 2021.

We have an immediate need for volunteers for the Covenants, Grounds, Activities, and Communication Committees! 

Out of our 660 home community, we have fewer than a dozen regular volunteers, including the Board members! If you are interested in helping to help make a positive impact, please contact Darnell (drobertson@sfmcinc.com) to submit the volunteer form. 

Stay informed of and provide your input on Board business by attending Monthly Board of Directors Meetings!
