An email went out today from our Community Manager regarding VDOT’s paving project in our community. Contact Holly Gibson (hgibson@sfmcinc.com) if you need to opt in to receive emails.

As most of you are aware, VDOT is working on the roads in the community. This is not an Association project and is being done by VDOT’s contractor, Slurry Pavers, Inc.

Slurry Pavers will begin with all the roads off of Broadwinged Drive first and work their way out to the main road. This would include Barn Owl Court, Brown Thrasher Court, Ladderbacked Drive, Retailed Court, Ruffed Grouse, Swift Way, and Willett Way. Slurry Pavers has posted these areas and is leaving notices in the flyer boxes of all residents.

When you see that the utilities have been taped off, they will begin in that area very soon. Do not park on the street when they are working in your area or you risk being towed. Cars can park along Broadwinged Drive or at the Pool House while they are performing the resurfacing. Please follow the crews’ instructions as you drive through the community.

Residents are encouraged to review the informational videos from the Slurry Pavers’ website that explain the process of the project. http://www.neighborhoodslurry.com/

Additional information will be provided to residents as it becomes available. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as they work to improve the community roads.
