As we approach the new year many families look ahead and reset their household budgets. The Association is no different. The process for the next year’s budget starts months before the end of the year and requires a lot of work by the volunteer Board members and the Associations management company.
The Board of Directors, as fellow homeowners ensures proper due diligence the process to ensure the most financially responsible decisions for the entire community. They don’t take assessment increases lightly and works to mitigate any potential increase through a variety of ways. Our 660-home community is complex, comprising a variety of homes, many acres of common area and amenities. The assessment structure is designed to reflect the requirements of specific home types and required services. However, the reality of high inflation affects the cost of maintaining our community property and preserve the level of services to which we’ve become accustomed to as a basic standard.
